Without our usual selling opportunity at the Melplash Show we have been looking for alternative outlets for honey from the WDBKA Apiary.
The Apiary Management Committee continue to work hard to maintain strong, healthy colonies. This is resulting in a good crop of honey which can be sold to raise funds for the Association. See the ‘Apiary’ tab at the top of the page to read more about the different hives.
We are delighted that the newly opened Rise Bakery Store in Bridport has offered to support WDBKA through the sale of Apiary honey. We wish them well in their new venture.
The store can be found by the Texaco roundabout in Bridport … the distinctive yellow signage makes it easy to spot! Do pop in to have a look … they have a wonderful selection of local produce on sale … including bread and pastries from their own Rise Bakery from Crepe Farm in Symondsbury.
