WDBKA + EDBKA Annual Joint Meeting @ Whitchurch Canonicorum Village Hall

On Thursday 17th January we look forward to our annual joint meeting with East Devon BKA.

This year Roger Pattison will deliver the lecture – ‘Dead Bees don’t Buzz!’

Please come and join us for what promises to be an entertaining and informative evening.

The presentation will be followed by refreshments – and time to catch up with our East Devon friends.

Please try to share lifts to ease congestion in the carpark.

Module 1 – Honey bee Management Study Group @ Stratton Village Hall

Please contact Carole asap if you wish to join this study group… costs £60 for a six week course leading to an optional exam.

This is a great opportunity to review the syllabus for Module 1 – Honey bee Management with Lesley Gasson, Education Officer for DBKA.

Dates – January 15th, 22nd, and 29th, Feb 12th, 19th and 26th.

We are delighted to be able to welcome Dr Sara Robb of Bath Potions, to present her talk –

‘Honey in Cosmetics’ – with a soap making demonstration.

One of our members heard Dr Robb at the National Honey Show… and suggested we would all enjoy listening to her lecture.

We are looking forward to sharing her expertise as we welcome her to Bridport and WDBKA.
