Building on the success of our last joint meeting with EDBKA we are looking forward to a further evening  talk. This time we will be listening to Norman Carreck as he considers …

“The Perfect Queen: How do I Get One?”

Norman is a highly respected apicultural scientist ex Rothamsted Research Station, now at Sussex University and Science Director at IBRA.

He has recently published results of a pan European study of queen quality and success.

In the light of excessive drone laying and vanishing local queens where do we go from here?

This promises to be a really interesting evening… Norman’s talk will be followed by tea and cake and the opportunity to chat with beekeepers from ‘over the border!’

Please try to share transport to ease congestion and allow plenty of time to reach Whitchurch Canonicorum. The evening starts at 7.30pm.
